Buying items in multiples

There are some AG items that I simply had to buy more than one of. Molly's chair was one. I bought it after the code so I paid full price for two chairs. (Still gasping on that one. Two chairs are expensive!) But I was able to take a bunch of great pics at the beach this past summer. Two chairs just go together.

I also bought two Swan Lake outfits. If I had the money at the time, I would have bought more but at least I can have two Swans a'swimming.

I think someone on the board bought a bunch of cheerleading outfits. I vaguely remember an album with some adorable scenes of the dolls all in matching outfits doing cheers.

Any other items that should be bought in multiples? Anyone have a bowling team? A school classroom in uniform? A family reunion with lots of folding chairs? A whole row of tap or Irish dancers? Any plans for a "Grand Finale" scene that calls for dramatic staging/costuming etc?

You mean these cheerleading uniforms? There are eight total, but I'll have to add more if I add more modern dolls. With those, I also have eight pair of the white sneakers. Oh... and those red club sandals. I think I have six of those-- doesn't everyone?!

I can't think of anything I have duplicates of, but I'd LOVE to have several more pairs of the black AGoT boots that came with my Perfect Plaid outfit and were with the red vinyl dress. (The ones Kit tried to wear with her cheerleading uniform.)

There's a few duplicates necessary for Felicity and Elizabeth- undergarments and black buckle shoes.

Otherwise, no exact duplicates for me, unless you count having two Kirsten dolls.

I do have a faery or elven outfit for each of my dolls for Halloween, but they are not identical. I'm still working on all the wings and ears! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Nope, no duplicates for me. I wish I had even one of the swan lake (or the other ballet) outfit.

I bought multiples of the Tap outfit for a Dollie Chorus Line that I still haven't done. I didn't get around to getting the 9 I need, so I'm not sure if I ever will do it.

I don't have any duplicate outfits, just because it gets harder to justify the cost when it's something I already have. Furniture and accessories are different, though. I have extras of Lissie's dishes so that more dolls can come to tea, and extras of some of the food items as well. Some of the furniture, like the desks and the dining chairs, would also be great to have multiples of - if only there was room!

I love the ides of the cheerleading squad!!! But for me personally, I would rather have a few complate collections than scattered duplicates. But thats just me!!!

not necessarily duplicates of the SAME item, but of the same type. In the beginning, I thought one ballet outfit, or one swimsuit, or one Halloween costume would be enough. But just like in real life, you want your friends to do fun things with you. So now I have several ballet or dance outfits (all AG) and quite a few of the Halloween costumes, except the retired Black Kitty costume due to high ebay prices.

That way, the dolls can all dress up at the same time, or perform in a dance competition, or go swimming together!

I don't think I could ever justify exact duplicates, with the exception of the chairs that you mentioned.

I agree with dianasmom. I got dd one of the older soccer uniforms for Christmas, and she loves it, but knows about the current one and it's still on her wishlist so Addy and Kit can both have one.
